Irish Distillers is headquartered in Dublin and is the largest distiller of Irish whiskey, with popular brands such as Jameson, Paddy and Powers.
Working closely with architects Philip Barlowe and Associates on the new Irish Distillers HQ on the Nass rd in Dublin, Farrell Furniture was chosen to deliver a fully customised furniture solution.
Adhering to a challenging timeframe, we needed to liaise closely with the team at Philip Barlowe to deliver and react accordingly to meet project goals. Ultimately, our solution would accommodate a range of personal tastes as well as meeting practical requirements for a busy working environment.
The project focussed on delivering highly flexible workstations and creating custom-designed meeting room, break-out and video-conferencing facilities.
Throughout our design phase, we worked closely with all stakeholders and gained a solid understanding of what was required in terms of both practical requirements and individual styles. Our Adapt range gave us the flexibility and innovation required to provide a premium solution and by incorporating workstations from our Partners range, we achieved the perfect combination of beauty and functionality. By incorporating specialist products like Sidiz chairs, comfort and ergonomics was assured and the addition of bespoke Farrell tables added an extra level of personality to the project.
We also weaved in key aspects of modern design like humanscale monitor arms. The furniture was finished in real wood maple and Adapt’s white aluminium, giving both a natural and fresh feel.
At Farrell Furniture, we have always been known for our flexibility and commitment to services. This project illustrated our ability to work to deadlines and deliver a cost-effective furniture solution on-time and within budget.
