Inland Fisheries Ireland (IFI) is the state agency responsible for Ireland’s inland fisheries and sea angling resources.
For their HQ office at Citywest in Dublin, Farrell Furniture were tasked with providing a furniture solution that could meet very precise storage requirements and would also create a first-class modern working environment, including bespoke meeting room, break-out and conference facilities.
With more than 200 people working over two large floors, we needed to deliver a solution that would accommodate a range of personal tastes as well as meet practical requirements for a busy working environment. With this in mind, a framework agreement was developed to give us the guidance and inspire us to deliver a solution that would realise the ambitions of our client.
Right through our design phase, we worked closely with all stakeholders and gained a solid understanding of what was required in terms of both practical requirements and individual styles. For personal work-spaces, we installed 6/4/2 Person 1800×800 workstations. These came with mobile pedestals and top boxes, over-desk screens and side panels.
Finished in a beautiful Oak Veneer and a pristine Maple with solid edge lipping, we also supplied customised office and high dividing screens. A range of purpose-built storage solutions including high tambour units were supplied and fitted in line with the framework agreement.
This project demonstrated our ability to deliver a premium solution, working to a tight timeframe and in line with a pre-agreed framework agreement. And most importantly, the staff at the Inland fisheries department now has a contemporary office environment in which to complete their every day work.
